Slumbay House is a modern, architect-designed, four-bedroom house overlooking Loch Carron on the west coast of Scotland. The house offers self-catering accommodation for up to seven people and is available for rent for full weeks only, Saturdays to Saturdays.
Slumbay House is situated in a beautiful location. Surrounded by the Torridon Mountains the house offers superb panoramic views and glorious sunrises, making this an idyllic retreat.
Its location makes the ideal base for those visitors who enjoy outdoor activities or for those who want to “escape from it all”. It will appeal to walkers, mountaineers, bird-watchers, cyclists, sailors, anglers (sea, river and loch), golfers and anyone wishing to discover one of the most beautiful and friendly locations in the Scottish Highlands.
The house is the perfect base for a short or long break discovering and enjoying the beauty of the North West Highlands. For the outdoor enthusiast the options are endless... From scaling mountains, to mountain biking world class trails, sea kayaking, sailing, spotting water birds, otters, seals and, occasionally, dolphins, tackling the famous Bealach Na Ba loop or enjoying beautiful local walks.
The comforts of home await you on your return from your days adventuring. Explore the Applecross Peninsula, enjoying the rich local culture and history while sampling the delights of the world-acclaimed seafood available locally. The house is ideally located, still within the charming village of Lochcarron, reputedly Scotland’s longest village, but off the main thoroughfare.
Or for those looking to just take time out, why not slow down and stay a while, relax and enjoy the serenity of Wester Ross and the home comforts of Slumbay House. Special arrangements can be made for those wishing to stay more than three weeks.
